WIPR LEADERS 2023: Anneli Kapp recognized in the field of intellectual property rights
World Intellectual Property Review (WIPR) has listed the partner of KÄOSAAR, Anneli Kapp, among the world’s leading IP lawyers for 2023.
Anneli has been practising intellectual property (IP) law since 2001. She is an Estonian trademark attorney (trademarks, designs) since 2010, a European trademark attorney since 2011, and an Estonian patent attorney (patents, utility models) since 2011.
Anneli is a valued expert in trademark registration and enforcement matters, IP contracts, negotiations, and dispute resolution related with trademarks, industrial designs, and patents. She has lectured in numerous seminars and holds lectures on IP protection at Art College Pallas (since 2011).
Anneli is co-author of chapter Estonia in “European SPCs Unravelled. A Practitioner’s Guide to Supplementary Protection Certificates in Europe. Second Edition.” Wolters Kluwer. She is a contributor to the World Trademark Law Report online version. Anneli is a member of the professional qualifications committee of the Chamber of Estonian Patent Attorneys and an additional member of the Industrial Property Board of Appeal in Estonia.
WIPR Leaders is a one-stop guide to the leading IP practitioners in the world. The handbook lists over 2,500 lawyers across patent, trademark, and copyright practices. Following an extensive nomination period, the WIPR research team considered the nominated lawyers for suitability by exploring their work. This meant looking at practice history, industry expertise, and notable cases, as well as any additional activities, such as writing and teaching responsibilities, which have allowed the lawyers to shape and influence other and future IP practitioners.
